free moodle hosting May 7, 2008

Filed under: moodle — jen @ 1:13 pm

Just ran across a company, NineHub, who are offering free moodle hosting. I’m not sure what the catch is… and there’s always a catch, right?! but it might be worth looking into if you want a non-work moodle site to play with.  http://ninehub.com/

i tried ninehub but the top half of the page is ridled with Advertisements thats why i recomend moodle4free.com its easyer to set up and self explanitory just go to http://moodle4free.com then type in a subomain that you want it will be something like subdomain.moodle4free.com then you put in your e-mail make shore its correct because an confermation e-mail will be sent to you and also a admin password will be sent to you.

ONE WORD OF ADVICE DONT CHANGE THE SETTINGS IN THE ADMINISTRATION BOX BECAUSE YOU CAN LOCK YOURSELF OUT OF YOUR SITE LIKE I DID.

  3. Choosing the right Cloud Hosting for your Moodle deployment can make a difference in how your information is kept, stored and processed in the three main types of cloud computing services that are public, private and hybrid.
